FAQ

How do I install GhostSnap?

Download the zip, open it, and drag GhostSnap to your Applications folder. Launch it, enter your license key, then grant the Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions when prompted. That's it. GhostSnap starts working immediately.

Why is GhostSnap not on the Mac App Store?

GhostSnap uses system-level features that require permissions beyond Apple's sandbox restrictions. Selling directly lets us give you the full experience.

Is it safe to install?

Yes. GhostSnap is notarized by Apple, meaning it has been scanned and approved. macOS will verify it on first launch.

What permissions does GhostSnap need?

GhostSnap requires Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions to capture and annotate your screen. All processing happens locally on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is tracked.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your screenshots and captured content stay on your Mac and are never sent anywhere. GhostSnap processes all text recognition on-device using Apple's built-in Vision framework.

Can I use it on multiple Macs?

Yes. One license covers two Macs. Install on your laptop and desktop with no extra cost. Need more than two? Contact us for multi-device pricing.
